When there are not parameters, goals, reasons, motives, incentives nor context or references, the answer to this question is simply another question: Why not?

When there is not quality definition, nor path or plan regarding the best way to acomplish something, any effort is futile.

Bearing this in mind, the answer to the initial question, which is another question is: because it is not necessary.

Nowadays the companies that want to participate in the business arena can not allow themselves to have the luxury of lack of action regarding quality. Why? Because they are condemned to failure... sooner or later.

Why quality? Because the one and only key to success is quality. A word that, like its counterpart, Problem, almost everybody uses everyday but not many can define precisely.
